After a hotel pick-up around 4.45am (to be confirmed after your booking) we head into a local fishing village.

We sit for coffee and evaluate your photography level and expectations. We also get started with our people photography composition workshop.

After some time shooting the busy fishing activity along the river, we head into the village to witness the local life, grab another coffee and have breakfast.

For the remaining of the tour, we stroll through the narrow streets of the village, meeting the people doing their daily activities and finish with a colorful shipyard.

Back to your hotel by 9.30am.

Anything is fine, as we just walk around the village. You also have the option to step into the river to get closer to the action, if you’d like.

This tour is aimed at everyone, from complete beginner to advanced photographer to semi-pro willing to discover an amazing location.

Of course, you can. Even though we start most of our photography tours discussing camera settings, most of our workshops are about composition and how to be creative. So any camera works!

We had been looking forward to this tour for our visit to Hoi An and were not disappointed. Fred was our guide for the morning and he was wonderful. We are both keen photographers but only amateurs. Fred found our skill level then gave us enough pointers to keep us busy during the hours that followed. We ended up with lots of images that we are really pleased with. Images that we would not have been able to capture on our own because Fred was really familiar with the place and the people. We are particularly pleased with the portraits of several of the people we were able to take. Not only that, Fred knows the lady who "makes the best Bahn Mi in Vietnam" so we had a delicious breakfast, washed down with a nice Vietnamese coffee. We continued to use Fred's tips during the rest of our holiday in Vietnam and as a result we came home with images that we are really proud to show our family and friends. If you like photography you will really enjoy this tour. Thanks again Fred.
